Tommy's Lazy G is a quaint little getaway nestled in the middle of 1200 acres in rural Marshall County, Alabama. The Lazy G is the perfect place for relaxing getaways, country weddings, retreats, family reunions, and other gatherings. Lazy G boasts breathtaking vistas and natural wonders including mountaintop views, creeks, caves, a waterfall, ponds, meadows, forests, and beautifully maintained flower beds.

Lazy G began life as a  hunting club and a single cabin (pictured above) in the woods built by our founder, Thomas "Tommy" Griffin, to enjoy with his wife, children, and grandchildren. While still being home to abundant wildlife, Lazy G slowly grew to include the various buildings that you will currently find scattered around the grounds including ten rental cabins, a lodge with a bar facilities and sleeping accommodations,  a covered bridge, barn, gazebo, numerous outbuildings, two outdoor fire places, and our crown jewel-the Chapel in the Cove. Each of our cabins are equipped with WiFi and DirectTV so that you have all the comforts of home while you unwind in the country.

Today, Lazy G is owned and operated by Tommy's family including his wife, Melinda, two sons, Billy and Charlie, and numerous grandchildren. We host weddings, family reunions, company retreats, graduation parties, photoshoots, and just about any other event you can imagine.
